Summer Reads

Ok, thus far I've been a slow reader. That is compared to my normal reading pace. I've decided to try to slow down and really pay attention to the details. Usually I get really wrapped up in a story, will read all night just to finish it, and then realize that I didn't catch all of the details. This time I'm taking my time. It's been a while since I have posted on here and thought that you might like to see what I've been reading. Here it goes:

1. All 3, Hunger Games books. **May the odds ever be in your favor.**

2. I've read two new books by a new and upcoming author; Dawn Husted. She also just happens to be my sister. So while I may be biased I can honestly tell you that her books are really enjoyable and have some great twists & turns in them.  "Nicova" is a story written for a younger audience and can be found on Amazon. "Windor Book 1" is written for the older audience and can also be found on Amazon. Here is a link to her website. http://dawnhusted.weebly.com/

3. I am currently reading "TSI: The Gabon Virus" by Paul McCusker & Walt Larimore. I'm loving this one. It's action packed, has a CSI feel to it, and it's a mystery all in one. I'm having a hard time putting it down. Here's a link to it: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6151871-the-gabon-virus

4. Another book that I'm reading right now along with the before mentioned is, "The Lucky One" by Nicolas Sparks. It's awesome!

Check them out if you are looking for a new read this summer:)

"It's a post apocalyptic world and everyone has to play to the State's demands; even to the death. It's gripping, and the characters really pull you in. Once you begin this story you won't be able to put it down. It's like nothing I have read before"
